Engelberg Highlights – Winter in Switzerland

Day 1: Arrival in Switzerland – Engelberg

Transfer to Engelberg and check into the hotel. Enjoy a first stroll round the village before settling back into the hotel. Overnight: Hotel Terrace (D)

Day 2: Engelberg – Mount Brunni

Breakfast at your hotel. Take a cable-car ride up mount Brunni. This area is known as the ‘sunny side’ of Engelberg! Take a walk through the snowy landscape from Ristis to Brunni, from where you will enjoy great views of Mount Titlis and the alps. After a lunch on the mountain, take a cable-car back to Engelberg, and walk the few minutes to Engelberg’s monastery. Here you will have a self-guided tour of the cheese factory, and you can visit the beautiful church belonging to the monastery. Overnight: Hotel Terrace (B,D)

Day 3: Engelberg – Mount Titlis

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will have an unforgettable trip to the top of Mount Titlis at 3,020 m by revolving cable-car. At the top, you can explore the glacier cave, and experience the Titlis Cliff Walk – Europe’s highest suspension bridge. After some time at the top, take the gondola down to the middle station, Trübsee, where you can visit the Igloo village. You can also try out skiing here, with a 1 hour beginner ski experience included. For a small supplement you might want to hire some snowtubes for some fun snowtubing or even get your first try on an e-snowmobile. Overnight: Hotel Terrace (B,D)

Day 4: Departure

Breakfast at your hotel. Depart Engelberg - rail transfer to the airport or continue your holiday in Switzerland. (B)
