Itinerary:

Day 1 - Bologna: Arrive and explore at leisure. Bicycle fitting and briefing. Dinner is at a local trattoria. (D)

Day 2 - Bologna: Enjoy a cooking demonstration, followed by the opportunity for a short loop ride on the hills south of Bologna (25-45 km) (B)

Day 3 - Bologna - Modena: Follow a rails-to-trails bike path to the fortress town of Bazzano, before heading to Modena (62km). (B)

Day 4 - Modena - Reggio Emilia: Continue on along back roads to your agriturismo for your overnight stay. Visit a traditional balsamic vinegar factory (51km). (B,D)

Day 5 - Reggio Emilia - Parma: Observe a working Parmesan cheese maker. Ride along bike paths following an old railroad to Parma. (62km). (B,D)

Day 6 - Parma Hills: Today's ride will loop to the breath-taking castle of Torrechiara (48km). (B)
